Friends of Harvey West Pool is a support and advocacy group for the Harvey West Pool, a municipal facility in the city of Santa Cruz, whose aim and purpose is to:
- Increase community awareness of and involvement in the Harvey West Pool through marketing and public relations;
- Increase the number and diversity of the people who use the Harvey West Pool;
- Work with the City Staff and the City Council to educate pool users about how the Harvey West Pool is financed;
- Increase understanding on the part of the City Staff and the City Council about the value of the Harvey West Pool to the entire community of Santa Cruz.
